Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Senior Consultant, Transformation in Education to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Senior Consultant, Transformation in Education delivers high quality learning experiences, leads projects, and develops relationships in the Consulting Services line. Specifically, the Senior Consultant, Transformation in Education will partner with CCSI customers seeking support in understanding and improving the quality, value, and impact of education, programs and services from a trauma-responsive, equity-focused lens. The Senior Consultant, Transformation in Education role requires familiarity with education systems and culture, deep knowledge of the impact of childhood adversity and trauma, prevention or resilience-enhancing approaches, and wellness practices, as well as crisis response and recovery. Customers may engage with CCSI via existing models of learning, coaching, and assistance such as TIG. Alternatively, they may require an individualized approach to match their culture and priorities. The Senior Consultant, Transformation in Education will provide their expertise in delivering easily accessible and highly effective materials and the technical assistance necessary to support practice transformation efforts at the individual, building, district and/or institution level. Core competencies include solid understanding of best practices, change tools, and resources to enhance the customer’s ability and capacity to adopt and implement new practices. Position requires passion for education, cultural humility, exceptional organization and communication skills, consensus building and facilitation skills, and commitment to the ongoing learning and development needed to keep pace with this rapidly evolving field.
In this role, you will be
- Serving as Project Lead and/or Customer Relationship Manager for projects within the Consulting Services line, particularly in areas of system transformation, best practices, and implementation support in education.
- Leading and coordinating complex components of large projects or series of smaller projects inclusive of coordinating successful team contributions in line with quality, timeline and budget.
- Facilitating instruction on trauma-responsive approaches and projects requiring technical assistance for implementation including TIG and other collaborations oriented to the needs of schools and school-based professionals.
- Making significant contributions to project design, proposal development, budget creation, and other business development efforts aimed at expanding CCSI services to current and new customers.
- Working with CCSI customers to develop a customized implementation approach to best match organization needs and culture.
- Providing consultation to support sustainable organizational transformation, particularly to promote equity, as well as the adoption and growth of trauma-responsive practices.
- Developing practical tools, materials and resources that meet the diverse needs of individuals, schools, and institutions of higher education such as agendas, slide decks, curriculum development, workbooks, etc.
- Providing supervision, develops team members’ skills and fosters growth by including staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating, and process improvement with regular and constructive performance feedback.
- Collaborating with staff and across CCSI service lines and other experts to develop and use multi-disciplinary solutions to meet complex customer needs.
- Contributing to preparation and review of project reports and findings.
- Staying abreast of advances in the field through professional learning, as well as reviewing related fields to identify best practice models and methods
- Maintaining an industry presence as a subject-matter resource by initiating and contributing to scholarly publications that are consistent with CCSI’s strategic plan, and/or by presenting at annual conferences and meetings.
- Applying general knowledge of principles and concepts in the field(s) of specialization as they apply to projects and initiatives.
- Conducting other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of Masters in Education, Masters in Social Work or related field is required with an advanced degree preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience leading related projects in education (PreK-12 and/or Higher Education), or related field, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI’s equivalency chart .)
- Demonstrated experience with group and process facilitation.
- TIG Trained (preferred), or exposure to models of Crisis Response and Recovery (ie Critical Incident Stress Management, PREPARE, Psychological First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, etc)
