Are you looking for an opportunity to gain marketing experience with a highly respected, established, global company? The Planet Group, a leading provider of outsourced human capital and consulting solutions, has an opening for a part-time (estimated 20 hours per week) Marketing and Social Media intern. This position is 100% remote. Our marketing team is creative and deeply experienced and could use an extra set of hands with our content and initiatives.
In this role, you will use your communication skills, web development experience, multi-tasking ability, social media knowledge, and resourcefulness to contribute to our daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
– Web content: Proofread and publish articles and case studies provided by our marketing team and subject matter experts to the launchconsulting.com website using Webflow; add internal and external links, find images that represent the articles; check for SEO best practices; add to our internal calendars and tracking systems
– Social media: Work with our content and social media teams to launch LinkedIn newsletters for our brands
– Brand ambassador program: Source insightful, interesting third-party content and post it on our brand advocacy platform to assist internal staff in positioning themselves as thought leaders in their fields
– SEO: Run reports to help analyze web and social media trends to finetune our content offerings and SEO efforts
– Employee engagement: Assist with marketing contests to increase social sharing and brand awareness
Qualifications
– Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing or Communications related field
– Demonstrated experience working with CMS systems like Webflow or WordPress
– Excellent communication and writing skills, especially when it comes to proofreading
– Social media exposure through past internships, assignments, classwork, or side projects
– Creative and detail oriented with strong organizational skills and an eye for design
– Strong understanding of social media, content development, and technology
– Strong team player who is resourceful, self-motivated and takes initiative
– Proficiency in B2B LinkedIn; experience with Canva, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or another scheduling platform is a bonus
Location
Our team is fully remote and you will be, too. If you prefer to experience an office environment, we have locations throughout the US with high concentrations of employees in Chicago; Atlanta; San Diego; Cleveland; Bellevue, WA and Bedford, MA.
