How to start exploring your career options before you start the job search

Whether you have just started your graduate program or postdoctoral fellowship, or are a significant way through it, exploring your future career options is an important foundation for your future job search efforts. Knowing what you want in a future career, understanding what skills you have, and knowing which career fields value your experiences, knowledge, are all part of the exploration process. In this workshop, we will cover tools and resources to help you assess your own skills, and steps you can take to discover new and interesting career paths.
